Sofrecom Consultant

Valérie Peugeot is a senior consultant for Sofrecom http://www.sofrecom.com/, a subsidiary of Orange/France Télécom, in the SATM team (Services Avancés Télécoms et Médias). After two years as Editing Manager of the internal watch letter regarding innovative convergent services, she now coordinates anticipated projects, involved in the analysis stage, strategic recommendations and service launching.

Social media, future of the Web, portability and opening of Web date, Internet of things, design world usages, specific needs in developing countries, open innovation, Web sciences, social responsibility of the company … are just some of the subjects recently studied.

She is president of the non-profit French organization VECAM http://vecam.org/. She has been working for VECAM since 1995 focusing on the political and social challenges in regards to information technologies. As president, she assisted in organizing the first “World Science and Democracy Forum” which took place in Belem (Brazil) in January, 2009.
