Scott Lash est professeur de sociologie et des études culturelles à l’Université de Londres. Il commence sa carrière en tant que conférencier à l’Université de Lancaster où il est devenu Professeur en 1993. Le travail de Scott Lash a été particulièrement influent en sociologie et des études culturelles. Son travail avec le coauteur John Urry a marqué le paysage culturel.
