President of Cap Digital

Henri Verdier is the president of the Governing Board of Cap Digital, a business cluster of digital design industries for the Ile de France region.

Cap Digital counts 500 members: 430 SMEs, 20 large groups and 170 research laboratories in various sectors: video games, cinema, special effects, intelligence technologies, e-learning and open software, Web 2.0 and robotics. The grouping of start-ups and industrial leaders invest an annual amount of over 200 million Euros in R&D.

Henri Verdier is the former Director of “Odile Jacob Multimédia”, a subsidiary company of the Odile Jacob publishing house, developing e-learning solutions within the Lagardère Group. Today he is Director of strategic foresight for the Institut Télécom, and the consultancy firm Aliscan.
