Alain Cadix’s biography
Director of the ENSCI-Les Ateliers
Alain Cadix is an aeronautics engineer and Doctor in Management Sciences. He has worked for the Chamber of Commerce in Paris (CCIP) and been professor at the ESCP Europe, then with the CRC in Jouy-en-Josas. He joined Dassault Aviation in 1989 where he became Director of Human Resources, and then Communication Manager. He reintegrated the CCIP in 1995 to create and manage the ISTM – Graduate Institute for Technology and Management and simultaneously managed the ESIEE – Electronic and IT Engineering University in Marne la Vallée. In 2003 he was nominated Deputy Director- General of the CCIP, responsible for research and information. From March 2006 to March 2007, he left the CCIP to set up an Economic Agency in Rennes, Brittany. Since 2007 he has been managing the National Graduate School for Industrial Design. Alain Cadix was President for the “Conférence des Grandes Ecoles” from 2001 to 2003. He was then on the Board of Governors for Research and Technology (President of the commission “Industry and Technology”) from 2005 to 2008. He has written articles and books such as: Le Management à l’épreuve des changements technologiques: impacts sur la société et les organisations (supervisor and co-author of the book) Editions d’Organisation, 2005).
